Wash your clunker with Bon-Aire.jpg

The Clunkers program has been suspended

In case you haven’t heard, the Clunker stimulus bill that recently started (less than a week ago) has been suspended. Apparently the government was afraid they were going to use all the $1 billion that was allocated for it and didn’t want to go over-budget! From what I read there was quite a backlog of paperwork and with the delay it looked like it was getting to the point where people trading in their clunkers might think they would be getting the $4500, but the money might not have been there.

It will be interesting to see if the government reinstates the program – hopefully it will be a little better planned out before they do. I am sure it is a bummer for some of those who were wanting to trade in their old car, but now don’t have the additional incentive. So if you are one of those who are missing out, I am going to help you out! By providing a tool to help you get your clunker shining again!

Clean your car with this awesome hose nozzle!

Clean your clunker with this!.jpgI was browsing on Amazon and this really cool hose nozzle caught my eye – don’t ask why – my wife doesn’t get it either. But anyway, it has fantastic reviews and is perfect for helping you shine up your old clunker!

I have a 98 Taurus that I have been cruising around in and I am inspired to give her a little wash – this nozzle will do just the trick – I am sure!!

So, as always if you are interested in winning the Nozzle, just head on over to the forums and leave a comment!

Sounds like some folks thing they are at the point of no return, but there is always a simple solution – spend more money. Hmmm. We’ll see if the budget is increased past the 1 billion.

It’s a victim of its own success. Congress is trying to add 2B to refund it and keep it going but not sure if that will be good idea or not.

It has a firehose like quality. Maybe your inner-fireman is dying to get out.

According to the NY Times and the White House the program is continuing on…

Poof!!! Another $2 billion of whose money? Maybe my grandchildren. Let’s stimulate the auto industry while we all add some debt!

I just shake my head at the money being spent by this administration. How do we solve our budget problems by continuing to spend these massive amounts of money? You and I (meaning us “real folk”) must create and stick to a budget. For those who are in serious debt, we must make a plan to spend less so we can put some real money towards that debt. We can NOT get out of a high debt load by incurring more debt and neither will anybody loan us money if we are in over our heads. Yet the govt thinks this the way to solve our money shortfall. Wow, amazing.
