Town Hall for Hope
I have been hearing more about this the last few months and it is less than a week away, so I wanted to let everyone know about it. I am still not sure exactly what’s going to go down, but it seems like a very cool thing that Dave has planned.
What is the goal?
Basically Dave Ramsey is trying to rally people together to dispel fears and instill hope about the US economy.
From the TownHallForHope website…
Connect with families across the nation for a truly radical message: HOPE.
Tired of hearing the fear, doom and gloom that’s filling the airwaves? Join Dave Ramsey for a nationwide town hall meeting and discover what’s happening with the economy, how we got here, and where we’re going. Plus, Dave will answer your questions live throughout the event!
How is it going to happen?
Dave Ramsey and his team are recruiting churches, businesses, organizations or anyone to open their doors on April 23rd at 8pm EST to broadcast it live. The event is completely free for the venues and the attendees, so you can just show up at any of the local venues hosting it that night to watch it live. If you are interested in finding a local venue in your area, you can visit this page.

I’m definitely attending and am extremely excited! Rock on!
We are going (if we can find a babysitter!). Our church is hosting one of the meetings, and I am very excited to hear what Dave has to say! Anything is better than what is coming out of Washington and the media right now……
I too am looking forward to this event, and, am thankful my church chose to be a host. I hope to invite a few friends and encourage family members to go in their own areas.
I appreciate Dave’s positive attitude. It’s kind of like the glass is either half empty or half full example.
On many occasions, Bob has written with a biblical perspective on our finances. It’s one thing to know God’s advice, but another to live it out and trust. The Town Hall for Hope video Bob included reminds me to not worry, to strive to work hard, and do the best I can with what I’ve been given (something Bob wrote about the last few days!).
