Debt is like wetting the bed…

I found this quote about debt and I love it…

“Borrowing money is like wetting your bed in the middle of the night. At first all you feel is warmth and release. But very, very quickly comes the awful, cold discomfort of reality.”

What do you think? It really paints a vivid picture doesn’t it? ;)

And here are a few other articles I have been reading this week…

The quote is a more vivid expression of a thought I had when I saw a jewelry store ad this week. It was for the store’s credit card and said, “From dreams to reality in a swipe of a card.” I thought, “More like from dreams to reality in one card statement.”

Thanks so much for the mention, Bob!

This quote so perfectly describes a feeling I used to know all too well. Thankfully, I no longer “wet the bed”.

This might be my new favorite quote! I dunno though, it just feels wrong to have a favorite quote about wetting your bed. :) Still - good quote and thanks for sharing.

@John
yea it is great, but you are right - it isn’t really something you can make an inspiring poster out of ;)
