@Curt
you may have a good point - I think it just depends on the situation - it may be a great opportunity for Jesus to be lifted up. Paul talked in the Bible about how he wasn't really phased by those preaching the gospel with impure motives. Because, even though they weren't doing it with the right intentions, Jesus was still becoming more famous... This could be the case with this article...

Money magazine has published a lot of articles that where flat out wrong - just like most of the financial media.

Here are few examples;

Why acting bearish is a dumb move
http://money.cnn.com/2008/04/29/pf/funds/acting_bearish.moneymag/index.htm?postversion=2008043009

A strong case for market optimism
http://money.cnn.com/2008/04/21/pf/mad_market.moneymag/index.htm

They don't seem to know what they are talking about, and I doubt they will understand how Christian values guide personal financial planning. It seems like they will publish anything that they believe people are interested in reading at the time.

As a Christian, I'm not sure I want to take part in an organization who wants to use Christian values just to increase sales in a time of need.
