Help me find the best Christian Financial websites

I am in the process of creating a list of the best Christian Financial websites that I can find. I have found quite a bit, but I am sure there are just as many that I am not aware of. This is where you come in. If you have a website dealing in some way with financial issues from a Christian perspective please share it in the comments below. Alternatively, if you know of or have a site that deals with financial issues, but isn’t overtly “Christian”, but is run by Christians let me know that as well. Feel free to write a bit about some of the site features or what you like about it.

I know a lot of Christians like to support their fellow brothers and sisters, so hopefully we will be able to create a nice resource for us all!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hi, I’d like to recommend my own site http://www.christianmoneymountain.com. I am relatively new to blogging but I will be talking about money from a christian perspective on my blog. I’ll also have my deals of the day, which are just great deals on items, or coupons, or even freebies. Check out my site and tell me what you think. Thanks.

Am I included in this list, or do I need to write about money and the Bible to be included? I’m Christian and have said so on my site, but I haven’t pushed religion and finance together much (yet).

Pete December 18, 2008 at 12:40 pm

I’d like to be included – but we’re already familiar with each other!

Thanks for making this list. I’m going to add the ones I don’t have yet to my reader.

My site isn’t focused on Christianity, but I am a committed Christian and everything I write about is motivated by that. My site is http://www.domesticcents.com

Thanks!

Beating Broke December 18, 2008 at 2:55 pm

I consider my self a Christian, and run http://www.beatingbroke.com, you can decide whether it qualifies as a Christian blog or not.

I am a Christian, who writes a frugal living website. I try to add my Christian perspective at times, especially when writing about Christmas.

@Pete – Thanks for the mention!

@Bob V – Thanks also for the mention, but I’ll turn right around and add yours: http://rcvogler.com/ Oh, you need to visit more…none of this “time to time” stuff, you will visit everyday (waving hands in Jedi mind trick fashion) Thanks for reading ;-)

@Bob – This is going to be great, excellent idea.

Our family found a website that encourages you and is focused on the right values. It is http://www.stickyasset.com.

On this website, they offer advice on saving and investing wisely, living below your means and ways you can encourage and teach your children how to save. It has really helped our family develop our own plan for saving and helped us to identify ways we may have been taken advantage of in the past. Things change over time. http://www.stickyasset.com was and is a great resource for our family.

Thank you.

Our family discovered http://www.stickyasset.com. It helped us develop a plan to save and invest wisely. It also focuses on helping your children understand saving the perils of credit cards and other critical issues families face.

Thank you.

http://www.biblemoneymatters.com/ – This is a site I just happened to stumble across. Though I would go ahead and add it.

Has free spreadsheets for about everything you can think of linked from his site.

Well, I will nominate my site of course, but I also happen to like http://www.dividendgrowthinvestor.com/ because it gives well researched information.

I humbly submit my own site, http://www.moneypurposejoy.com, and also http://generousnews.org/

Thanks to everyone who has contributed – and keep them coming, I will probably work on organizing this whole thing in January…

Janelle @ Brimful Curiosities December 29, 2008 at 9:34 am

I’d like to see you add the major religious fraternal organizations to your list or do a separate post featuring them. They are non-profit, offer financial planning and do so much good for communities. Thrivent Financial is one such organization: https://www.thrivent.com/. Also National Catholic Society of Foresters http://www.ncsf.com and Catholic Knights http://www.catholicknights.org/

While my everyday blogging doesn’t have a religious theme, your readers may be interested in my “faith celebrations” posts.

That’s where I have talked about the financial aspects of faith traditions such as funeral calls, “Sunday best” attire and religious wedding rituals.

Austin Pryor is a solid Christian. I think there is some free content.
