One of the main keys to personal finance is knowing where your money goes and choosing where it goes. Often times, I find that people can or could save themselves hundreds or even thousands of dollars a year by just watching the “little” expenses.
That said, one of my financial “flaws” is that I don’t really care about comparing gas prices. Yes, I know there are times where there may even be up to a 20 cent discrepancy, which could save me a few bucks. But, I generally don’t think it is worth my time and effort to try to figure out which gas station has the lowest price.
Coming back to the other side of the argument, I know that many people DO care about this and maybe more on a psychological level rather than a financial one. They just FEEL a bit better knowing that they got the best price, regardless of how many pennies they actually saved.
So, in either case, Gasbuddy.com allows you to drop in your zip code and it will show the [tag]cheapest gas prices[/tag] around.

I think you made a great point. Not only are you saving money, but imagine if EVERYONE always fill up at the cheapest station. I think that will force the price down a bit won’t you?
