David Bach’s publisher recently sent me a copy of the Finish Rich Dictionary: 1001 Financial Words You Need to Know to review. It is difficult to review a dictionary, but I will give it a shot. ;)

Finish Rich Pros

  • Just like most of David Bach’s stuff if is not geared towards financial experts, so it is simple for most people to understand.
  • I like that the definitions are broken up by about 10 articles about finances that people would be interested in. For example: “How to buy a home”, “Understanding your credit score”, “Top 10 money mistakes that people make”.
  • It also has a useful appendix with common financial equations.

Finish Rich Cons

All in all, I am glad they sent it to me. I like having handy reference material close at hand. Even though a quick Google search can provide the answers in this dictionary, I enjoy having a hardcopy. And it is nice that the definitions are easy for most people to understand, I just wish it would have been a hard-cover – because I would like to keep it for a few decades.
