At the beginning of Mark 8, Jesus performs this awesome miracle of taking seven loaves and feeding four thousand people with it. The disciples were with Him the whole time. They witnessed this and experienced it. They ate the fish and bread that was miraculously duplicated.
Then, just a few verses later:
They began to discuss with one another the fact that they had no bread. Mark 8:16
Jesus got on them a bit because they had just seen firsthand how God can provide, yet such a short time later they were concerned about the exact same thing.
I can’t judge them. I do the same thing.
Why is it that we can so easily forget about when God moved mountains in our lives, but be frozen with fear while staring at a molehill ahead of us?
