How to find a free ATM for ING Direct customers

As much as I love ING Direct, I have always been frustrated that every time I go to an ATM I have to pay a fee. I remembered reading that they had 25,000 ATMs across the nation, but I still seemed to be paying a fee every time.

Turns out I have 5 ING ATMs less than 5 miles from my house. And another 78 within 20 miles. Oops.

They have a tool that tells you where the nearest free ATMs are. I encourage you to check it out rather than foolishly just trying out ATMs until you find one – like me. ;) Check it out here.

They added more free ATM’s

To make things even better, they added another 10,000 free ATM locations. That brings them up to 35,000 locations. In a recent email I received from them, they said ING customers can access their cash at the following stores as well…

  • Target
  • Costco
  • Sears
  • Rite Aid
  • Walgreens
  • CVS
  • ExxonMobil
  • Sunoco
  • Hess
  • 7-Eleven
  • Winn Dixie
  • UniMart

Thanks for the info about ING ATM’s. I usually don’t use ATM’s very much but this is good to know if I need to get some cash.

Now if we can talk them into giving ATM reimbursement for the other ATM’s…. :)
