You are right – I think there is tremendous power in putting money in its rightful place. It can be extremely difficult in our society, but greed and selfishness create a bondage that is far worse than having less than we would like. The ironic thing is that by overcoming greed and giving, we actually get more. Luke 6:38

It is true that we shouldn’t let worrying about money totally take over our lives. However, we do need to make sure that we do not let the ‘It’s only money’ attitude give us an excuse to spend everything we have and more.

Well said Bob! It is funny how on one hand some can sit there and say that and open their fist when they see the new 56inch plasma from Sony arrive, but it isn’t just money anymore when sitting in church and the offering basket comes by.
