That was my big mistake - I agree that college expenses should be considered an investment, but like anything else, it is better to get a good price. @plonkee

It certainly might be a waste of money, but you've got a very long time to bounce back. It actually sounds like the mistake that you made was in choosing to do business rather than something you were really interested in. I know I'll be encouraging my kids to go to community college until they know what they want to do!
