I saw The Pursuit of Happyness the other day. It was a pretty inspiring and motivating movie (and yes, you do find out why “happiness” is spelled incorrectly in the title). It was refreshing to see a film that actually had a positive message.
It is a testament to the laws of sowing and reaping. When you sow you may not see the fruit immediately. It often takes time and a continuing nurturing for the tree.
I love finding out about how people take such small amounts of seed and turn it into such large harvest. It motivates me to see people who start small and end up so big.
The bible teaches us not to despise the day of small beginnings. It is a beautiful thing to sow seeds (in any area of our lives) and get to watch them grow and yield the wonderful fruit years later.

I saw this movie as well and agree with you. I was definitely inspired by it. I’ve never been in such dire straits as the hero of the movie was, so I really have no excuse to wallow, do I? I posted similar comments in another blog of mine. Pursuit of Happyness
