God is the sovereign creator and sustainer of all, which means we need to trust in Him not in anything else. But it's a fight to do that because our hearts are drawn so easily to material things. I recommend to my clients and site visitors the "10-10-80" plan. The first 10% of money taken home goes back to God through a favorite church or charity. The next 10% goes directly to a personal savings or investment account. Pay yourself first before any creditors. The final 80% is then used to pay for basic living needs and wants.
