Walk with the wise

I just watched a video of a guy giving financial tips. One of the ones he mentioned that stuck out to me was that, “your income is the average of your ten closet friends.”

Obviously, this isn’t an exact figure, but I think the point is a valid one that extends way beyond income to many areas of our lives. The truth is that we are affected by those around us. By putting positive influences in our lives, we will begin to change in that direction. It goes without saying that the same principle applies to the negative influences in our lives.

Proverbs 13:20 says, “He who [tag]walks with wise[/tag] men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
