Bob, Thanks for the link from the Widows Mite post. This needs to be shouted from the mountain top as soon as we are done shouting out our salvation by Jesus!! We were one of those, who often, used credit instead of faith but never used the credit for helping others. Much of our credit use was for medical expenses and the all-to-frequent recreational outing. Even worse, we used credit to buy groceries. We were so absolutely blinded by the lie of easy credit that we would often believe that getting a credit card or a loan approved was a blessing from God. After a 2nd and final bk, we have finally learned what it means to live, TITHE and give out of true faith in our Jehovah-jireh. We have been free from credit card use for a full year now. God’s miracles never cease.

That is a good point. I’ve already cut one of my cards in half. The other one (yes, I only have two) is locked in a safe in my closet.

Hi! I’m lovin your post today! Great stuff! Too many people just don’t realize the potential for catastrophe that credit cards get them into. Have you looked into Crown Financial’s biblical principals for money management? You should. Great stuff there too.
